Udyam Aadhar (MSME)
Udyam Registration, or Udyog Aadhaar as it was formerly called, is a government registration scheme which grants an identification number and certificate alongside recognition to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in India.
From its side, the Government of India through the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) took an initiative to advance the Udyam Registration portal on 1st July 2020 which aimed in promoting ease of registration for MSMEs.


Who Must Register?
All business organizations focusing on manufacturing, production, processing, or servicing and categorized as:
Micro Enterprise: Investment ≤ ₹1 crore and Turnover ≤ ₹5 crores
Small Enterprise: Investment ≤ ₹10 crores and Turnover ≤ ₹50 crores
Medium Enterprise: Investment ≤ ₹50 crores and Turnover ≤ ₹250 crores

Subsidies on patent registration and industrial promotion
Concessions on electricity bills
Protection against delayed payments under MSMED Act
